During an interview with the Wall Street Journal,Margherita Missoni commented that the storied Italian fashion house may “use its classic motif in simpler, more accessible designs.” Though details were few – no name, date, or strategy were secure as of press time of the article – Missoni cleared up the rumors by Tweeting after it was published, saying, “Missoni is NOT launching a second line. We already have a second line and it's called M Missoni.”¬†Though the brand experienced major success in the more affordable sector thanks to a recent Target collaboration, it would appear Missoni is sticking to its current brand strategy and established lines.
