J.W. Anderson Pre-Fall 2014
DESIGNER: J.W. Anderson
TRENDS: The J.W. Anderson pre-fall collection is all about structure and proportion, with silhouettes evoking futuristic flair but the minimalistic quality of the colors and piece-pairing keeping things grounded. Looks include draped dresses of heavy materials featuring long asymmetrical hemlines and high necks, graphic-print knit tunics paired with ankle skimming skirts, boxy long-sleeved blouses with baggy trousers, and oversized menswear inspired coats.
INSPIRATION: Unisex style. Pieces that could have been pulled from a “shared wardrobe.” Each look is reminiscent of Anderson's menswear fall 2014 collection.
PALETTE: Black, camel, red, ivory, yellow, green, navy.
WHO SHOULD WEAR IT: Tilda Swinton, Rooney Mara.
