Big news for Jennifer Aniston!
Today the Entertainment Industry Foundation announced the Wanderlust star as the new ambassador for Saks Fifth Avenue’s 2013 Key to the Cure campaign. As part of her duties she will appear in the national public service announcement, wearing the limited edition t-shirt that Emilio Pucci (the house that designed head-to-toe tour looks for Beyoncé and Rita Oraearlier this year) created specifically for the cause for $35. We can expect to see the ad in major fashion glossies in September and October.
"I'm so honored to join the Entertainment Industry and Saks Fifth Avenue in their continued efforts to raise funds for promising scientific research through EIF’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund,” said Aniston. “My hope is that everyone will contribute to this worthy cause by purchasing a Key To The Cure T-shirt designed by Emilio Pucci."
The Key to the Cure is Saks' charity shopping weekend that will take place Thursday though Sunday October 17th to 20th at all stores, including Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th nationwide and on Saks.com. A portion of sales will be donated to the EIF while all proceeds of the Pucci designed t-shirt will benefit the organization's Women's Cancer Research Fund. You've got to give it up to a retailer that goes glam for good! Congrats Jennifer!
