The Kaiser strikes again! This time Karl Lagerfeld is working his magic behind the scenes of the Bal de la Rose du Rocher in Monte-Carlo to benefit the Princess Grace foundation. Every year a theme is selected and this time around, the ball will be imagined through the eyes of Lagerfeld. He has chosen "Belle et Pop" a modern take on "La Belle Epoque" or the "beautiful era" as it translates in English. So what does this mean? "He will mix music and imagery from 'the golden age' in France," according to Women's Wear Daily, "with the latest in rap, hip hop and soul."

He conceived the costume for Rita Ora who in addition to Theophilus London, whose social calendar has been pretty full lately, and the Prague Concert Philharmonic will provide the musical entertainment for the night. Last year's theme was British Rose, but considering that this ball will be the 150th anniversary of the Societe des Bains der Mer, who owns and manages the Casino de Monte-Carlo, the Opera de Monte-Carlo and the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo, something extra special was needed. All venues involved in planning the invite-only event happening March 23rd.

Wondering how much a weekend like this costs? A mere $4,192 per person. But this is Lagerfeld's vision, and it's sure to be one to behold!
