What do you get when you add the Alexander McQueen brand’s “rebellious spirit and bold culture references” with Puma’s history of athletic innovation?
The second step in a partnership between the two brands. The first collection was launched almost a decade ago in Spring 2006.
“McQ reinterprets influences from global youth culture for a modern wardrobe whilst remaining true to the spirit of the house of McQueen,” McQ brand director Andy Rogers told Women’s Wear Daily.
“Sportswear has become an essential style status symbol on the streets of major cities around the world, so we’re very excited to be partnering with Puma for this collection of trainers,” he continued. “The mixing of sportswear with high fashion defines much of modern style, so it felt right to partner with a brand with such a strong history of designer collaborations.”
We love it when sportswear and high fashion kick it together. The collection launches globally on August 1.
