The On the Road actress will represent the brand’s new Beach Waves and Absolut Repair Lipidium that will hit salons this year. While the brand’s Inoa branch has had Alexa Chung to rep the brand’s hair color, Dunst marks the first "timeless beauty" in the professional brand portfolio. “Her great professionalism and commitment to excellence make Kirsten one of the most talented actresses I have ever met," said Anne-Laure Lecerf, International Managing Director of the brand. "She has the perfect attributes to embody the new values of L’Oréal Professionnel.”
“The brand is strongly connected to fashion and I admire its commitment to innovation, constantly creating new professional services and products to achieve the most on-trend styles,” Dunst said in a statement. “L’Oréal Professionnel empowers hairdressers to transform and reveal the beauty in each woman all over the world. It makes me very proud to be a part of this stunning project.”
The news also comes on the heels of another hair brand finding its freshest tresses, as Pantene announced Gisele Bündhcen as its newest brand ambassador this week. It’s already all about “New Year, New Mane” in 2014!
