Lacoste Fall 2014
Designer: Felipe Oliveira Baptista
Inspiration: The allure of Chantaco, the rustic golf course in France built by the father in law of Rene Lacoste in the late 1920s.
Trends: Sport and leisurewear meets nonchalant elegance with this collection chock-full of beautiful basics. Monochrome and linearity was the focus of Lacoste's chic but comfortable looks which included easy windbreakers and airy bombers paired with loose trousers and skirts. Rib collar sweaters and knits, though, offered something for print lovers with checkered patterns.
Palette: Navy, burgundy, red, olive, charcoal, black and white, beige.
Playlist: Songs by artist Gesaffelstein, including the tracks Destinations and Hellifornia.
