Looks like Leslie Knope's dream has come true – Vice President Joe Biden will guest star in next week’s episode of Parks and Recreation as part of an engagement present from her fiancé Ben Wyatt, a former Congressional campaign manager. The scene was shot back in July and was initially expected to be part of the season premiere in September but because of election restrictions that wouldn’t have allowed just one party to be featured, the scene was pushed back. Biden will play himself in a scene shot inside his ceremonial office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building where Leslie harasses the VP (and maybe fangirls a bit). While many would expect to overcome several security hurdles to land the second in command, it went way better than expected, according to The New York Times. “When they floated it by him, he thought it was a great idea and was excited about it,” said Executive Producer Michael Schur. “Then it was all about his schedule.” We'll be tuning in next week to check out the politician's acting chops!
