MAC Partners Up with Proenza Schouler

Target, Kohl’s, and H&M aren’t the only ones who can rock a designer collaboration right, as MAC is partnering with Proenza Schouler!

The beauty brand will start the spring off with a limited edition collection of Ombre Face Powders, Lipsticks, Pro Longwear Eye Liners, Lip Pencils, and Nail Lacquers. Plus there will be a 129SE Powder Brush to dust it all on. According to, the site expects the collection to tap into the brand’s DNA of neutral shades with vibrant pops of color that also swept the runways of New York Fashion Week last month. The site boasts that with Mario Sorrenti behind the camera of the campaign, we can expect to see an electric surf- and skater-inspired spectacle from their Spring 2010 show.

This is the first designer collaboration the brand has crafted since latching onto songstresses like Rihanna, Hayley Williams, and Nicki Minaj as of late. But the brand has also recently partnered with the Goth glory of Gareth Pugh in 2011 and flirty femininity of Alice + Olivia back in 2010, just to name a few.

Looks like the PS1 bag won’t be the only thing to snap up when the spring starts!
