Momofuku is doing its part to help repair the damage of Hurricane Sandy. The restaurant group has set up three events today to aid those affected by the natural disaster. Má Pêche’s lunch and dinner service as well as Booker and Dax at Má Pêche cocktail service’s proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross. The group’s noodle bar and milk bar are also joining forces in Williamsburg for a noodle bar bun pop-up, and between today and tomorrow, it will offer 2 buns for $10 with the proceeds going to the Red Cross. With the downtown restaurants out of commission, Momofku is teaming up with Café Boulud & Surrey are offering a six-course dinner, featuring dishes from Café Boulud’s Gavin Kaysen, Momofuku Ko’s Sean Gray, and Momofuku’s Ssäm Bar’s Matt Rudofker with beverage pairings and cocktails from Momofuku’s John Debary. All ticket sales from tonight’s exclusive dinner will also contribute to the Red Cross’s efforts to rebuild after the natural disaster.
