While she travels the world on her sold-out world tour, preps to headline the Made in America Festival, and leaves us chiming for change with Gucci, what Beyoncé fans really crave is new music. Sure, we caught a snippet of “Grown Woman” from her buzzed-about Pepsi spot, and yes, we got a first listen to her Sia-penned ballad thanks to H&M, but the Bey-hive is still in need of some full-length sweet sounds. While Mrs. Carter has yet to let us spend $1.29 on her next iTunes-released single, she finally sang a new tune on her European finale.
Clad in a fiery Alon Livne gown during her May 31 performance, Blue Ivy's mom declared that she had been saving her debut “Standing on the Sun” performance just for Antwerp fans. The result: a sultry, earthy serenade that crescendos into a syncopated, Caribbean-laced rhyme. Check out a front-row fan's full video clip of the performance, and, as a bonus, relive her “Grown Woman” get down during Gucci's Sound of Change charity concert.
P.S. Judging from these clips, we're starting to doubt reports that Beyoncé has a baby on board.
