The coveted candle company crafted a bright pink candle scented with Lauder’s inspiration for her Knowing fragrance, peony and pittosporum. The new addition will be available during Breast Cancer Awareness month with 10 percent of retail and 20 percent of wholesale proceeds benefitting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, which Lauder founded before she passed from the disease in 2011.
Named Passion, the candle was an appropriate way to honor the late entrepreneur, as the peony was her favorite flower. “They have a particular and distinctive smell and there are very few chances to use the peony fragrance,” Leonard Lauder, Evelyn’s widower and chairman emeritus of the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc., told Women’s Wear Daily.
We can’t wait to get a whiff of it!
