Now You Can Walk a Mile in Carrie Bradshaw’s Shoes!
When HBO's Sex and the City wrapped in 2004, Sarah Jessica Parker, who played the stylish writer Carrie Bradshaw, kept 70% of her character's wardrobe. (Jealous? We are too.) But now, the good news is, she's sharing. Parker is donating three, count 'em, THREE, pairs of Bradshaw's shoes, which, let's be honest, could almost be considered part of the cast, considering the character's obsession. Proceeds will go directly to a charity auction to raise money for LaGuardia High School for Music, Art, and the Performing Arts in New York, according to the Telegraph. A pair of studded Prada peep-toe mules, a pair of black patent platform courts by Dolce Vita and strappy silver snakeskin sandals by British shoemaker, Jonathan Kelsey are up on the auction block, each of which would make a fabulous addition to your collection.
Want to know what makes this deal even better? Parker has personally signed each pair with a handwritten note and her autograph on the sole of the shoe. On the Kelsey pair, she wrote, “Enjoy and be careful! Love SJP x.” Also up for grabs? A pair of Miu Miu boots Madonna wore during her 2012 Super Bowl performance, a pair of wedge sandals Britney Spears wore during her 2000 'Crazy' tour and boots Miley Cyrus wore in her “Got Milk?” ad. You may begin bidding April 24th at GottaHaveRockandRoll.com.
