Douglas Hannant debuted his Pink collection at the start of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, but there wasn't a stitch of the dainty hue to be found. Instead, garments for the modern woman were formed with artful color blocking and mixed textures. Darling bows and lace, as well as feathers and beads added a bit of sugar and spice to the flirty shapes.
Cadmium, plum, cream, and sand softened the bold pops of orange and malachite throughout. Standouts included a printed with black and ivory dress and skirt with silhouettes of the female form as well as a cable knit with silk georgette cream pullover paired with a printed skirt, rounding out a feminine, but fierce collection for Fall 2012.
