Rebecca Taylor's Spring 2011 show was inspired by "Jerry Hall circa 1970's." Models paraded down the runway in sexy, sloppy, top knot buns revealing a bare face with a coral pout.
Sheer, shimmery, movement dictated the aesthetic. Fabrics were very sensual; silk and chiffon gave looks an ethereal feel. The 70's sense of liberation was reflected in this collection, which translated that freedom with a modern perspective. A vanilla punched silk halter dress and jade nouveau tulip mini dress with a cross back spaghetti strap stood out. Airy looks gave way to a free spirited collection. ~Ivana Cepeda
