Originality is the key to success and for Tocca, and the brand definitely captured a new element of such with their Spring 2013 collection. Its presentation — seriously cool with models arranged in front of mirrors to offer a stellar 360-view of the clothes — afforded us an intimate look at the line, headed by designer Emma Fletcher. She said that she drew inspiration for the collection from faded polaroids of chevron-printed hot air balloons suspended in mid air; her use of mirrors came from the translucent patterns of a vintage kaleidoscope, yielding the aptly-titled collection's name.

Tocca's "Kaleidoscope" Spring 2013 collection features a series of rich colors perfectly balanced together with lightweight linens and sheer silks, along with the softness and structure from menswear's bespoke tailoring and the diamond cuts in snake lace. This collection also marks Fletcher's first foray into footwear and handbags; accessories that she gleamed with pride over. And proud she should be; in particular, there was a beautiful, oxblood (color trend alert!) bag with lace embroidered onto the front, and a bright blue clutch that worked perfectly paired with the blue tailored suit it rounded out — very chic.
