Tommy Hilfiger's Fall 2011 collection was probably one of the few fashion events that could compete with the Grammys. A remix of the Rolling Stones, Joni Mitchell and Rod Stewart provided the perfect soundtrack for the models who rocked the runway in cable-knit sweaters and capes, printed pajamas and silky shirt-dresses. The 70s rock star girlfriend had a bit of a mobster edge with fedoras, double-breasted suits and overcoats as a major part of the show. Loyal fans like Rosario Dawson and Amare Stoudemire once again sat front rowalongside editorial types. “I thought everything was colorful, beautiful and luxurious," said Dawson. "I loved how the models looked like sexy detectives. That’s what I love about coming to Tommy’s shows--he just makes things that are wearable and fun.” ~Valis Vicenty
