True to reports, Jessica Biel wore a custom pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown to marry Justin Timberlake!
"It was a total fantasy experience," Biel told People of her wedding day, which took place at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Italy. "It was a really special evening," added Timberlake.
Given her close friendship with the designer, Biel reached out for a one of a kind, individual, and extremely romantic gown for her nuptials. "It was very feminine and fun," she said. "I actually surprised myself when I chose my dress. It's a style I will only ever wear that one day."
The Giambattista Valli house described the custom wedding dress by saying, "The strapless gown of silk mousseline and silk organza consisted of a light pink floral motif and ruffles. The veil, which consists of Biel’s’ heirloom pearls, was also created for her by Giambattista Valli. All women in the bridal party, including both the mother of the bride and mother of the groom wore Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gowns to the ceremony. Jessica wore four looks with shoes and clutches from the Giambattista Valli S/S 2013 collection to events leading up to the ceremony.”
Biel accessorized with yellow and pink demand and rose gold earrings by Martin Katz and borrowed a pink pearl necklace from her future mother in law. In her hands, she carried a bouquet of chamomile, ranunculus and ruscus. Interestingly, in keeping with her less than traditional fashion choices, Biel opted for three of her four bridesmaids to dress in white, while her fourth wore a light pink long-sleeved dress!
