Punk: Chaos to Couture Ends at the Met

The Costume Institute exhibition “Punk: Chaos to Couture” closed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Wednesday as one of the top five of the institute's most successful exhibitions. The show had a total of 442,350 visitors during its run between May 9 to August 14th. We wonder if this had anything to do with Beyonce being the honorary chair at the star studded red carpet opening? Or perhaps the edgy and wild exhibit, which focused mainly on the New York and London punk scenes and their influence on fashion, was enough to draw people in.
