New York Fashion Week is going to be a little bit less bah-nan-as this season.
Citing reasons relating to her brand new baby, Rachel Zoe decided to cancel her show, bowing out of New York Fashion Week's Fall 2014 season.
“While I look forward to New York Fashion Week each season, I’ve made the difficult decision to move our Fall 2014 runway show from February 13th in New York [at The Salon in Lincoln Center] to a later date in Los Angelos,” Zoe told Women’s Wear Daily. “As a new mother, my newborn son is too young to travel with me and I’m unable to leave him for the amount of time required to appropriately prepare for the show in New York.”
Her collection, inspired by a Parsian women in the Sixties, a combo of “French bohemia with Mod elements,” like tailored jackets, mod shifts, houndstooth, plaid and textured tweeds, will go to market as planned on on Feb 10th.
Zoe looks forward to being back on the NYFW calendar in September, and we look forward to seeing her there.
