Serial Snooze Artist, Vol. 6: The Pencil Skirt
Today’s installment of the Serial Snooze Artist is an ode to the pencil skirt.
The pencil skirt has had a serious revival in my closet this season. With the right fit and function, you can convince almost anyone that you’re dressed up for a work-oriented occasion — even if you’re still wishing for the weekend.
I’ve been reaching for this sleek, long-and-lean style seven days each week (seemingly).
For the office, a pencil skirt looks as great with a blouse and pumps. On the weekends, I throw on a sequin blazer and bold pumps – because why not? It’s always fun to create a little contrast my mixing a tough-and-tailored jacket or cute pair of booties, too.
Soon enough (hopefully), we’ll be going through that awkward phase of transitioning our wardrobes from winter to spring, so the pencil skirt style strategy will be particularly effective. Shop the looks below: left, center, right.
