Based on MTV's recent teases for the 2013 Video Music Awards, we thought that Justin Timberlake was slated solely for an appearance. We don't claim to be the biggest sports fans in the world, but Colin Kaepernick's cover for GQ may have us rooting for the San Francisco 49ers this football season. While his feature in the September glossy zooms in on his impressive stats, it also reveals his propensity for forecasting the future. “I hope I go to a good college in football,” he wrote in a letter to himself during the fourth grade. “Then go to the pros and play on the Niners or the Packers even if they aren't good in seven years.” [GQ]

As much as we've been used to seeing Kim Kardashian in the tabloids over the years, the new mother took time away from the spotlight following the birth of her baby girl North West. That all ended yesterday when Kardashian, Kanye West, and their daughter were spotted out together in L.A. Is Laura Prepon leaving Orange is the New Black? The actress is reportedly stepping out of the spotlight on the critically-acclaimed Netflix show and will “not return as a series regular” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
