Game [of Thrones] on! Showrunners for HBO’s fantasy drama revealed that the series, now in its fourth season, would likely push out three more. “It was our unstated goal, because to start on a show and say your goal is seven seasons is the height of lunacy,” said showrunner David Benioff. “Once we got to the point where we felt like we’re going to be able to tell this tale to its conclusion, that became [an even clearer] goal. More on the renewals front from Big Bang Theory. CBS announced today that it would be bringing the top-ranked comedy back for not one, not two, but three more seasons, for a total of ten seasons by 2017. [Vulture]

Fort Tilden, a film about “a pair of twentysomething roommates who find themselves in a trek across ‘deep Brooklyn’” took home the top grand jury prize at this year’s SXSW Film Festival by unanimous decision. Call it the Lena Dunham effect. [Variety]
