Star Scoop: Lady Gaga Strips Down, A MARVEL-ous Comic Con, Selena Gomez Turns 21

First, she braved NYC in a black bra, and now, she'll be appearing nude in households around the world. Lady Gaga is back with a vengeance—and little else—as she poses nude for Inez and Vindooh in V Magazine. The ARTPOP artisan will be featured in the magazine's September issue, the same month her ARTPOP app arrives and right in time to tease her album's November 11 release date. [V Magazine]

MARVEL had plenty to share as Comic Con 2013 came to an end yesterday. The Walt Disney company hosted booth signings for Thor: The Dark World (out on November 8), a press conference with Chris Evans and Samuel L. Jackson for 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and a chat with Zoe Saldana, who will literally go green in an alien role for Guardians of the Galaxy, also out next year. [GLAM Inbox]

Selena Gomez is 21 and she's open to letting you in on her “Birthday” fun. The Disney alum shared the next single from her Stars Dance album in a promo clip where she and friends danced around to the club-friendly record; it ended with a warm rendition of “Happy Birthday” to Justin Bieber's on-again off-again flame. Carrie Bradshaw, meet Samantha Jones. As The Carrie Diaries preps for its second season on The CW, actress Lindsey Gort has been cast to play the younger version of Kim Cattrall's sassy Sex and the City character. We're excited to see how she and a young Carrie (portrayed by AnnaSophia Robb) hit things off… with or without Fendi Baguettes in tow. [Refinery 29]

She may have put in the work to bring her first Academy Award home, but Jennifer Lawrence's mother gets to bask in its glory. “If anybody's coming over to my house, I didn't want them to remember that,” Lawrence said of the trophy, which now resides with her family in Kentucky. “Just kind of puts a weird energy out.” [Huffington Post]

If it worked for Veronica Mars and Whoopi Goldberg, then it'll work for Spike Lee. The director is the latest filmmaker looking to raise money on Kickstarter for his next project. The “Newest Hottest Spike Lee Joint,” as it's being coined, will offer a look at humans who are addicted to blood. Interesting. “Nothing in life is free and if you want something you got to pay for it,” he writes on the campaign page. “If you have liked any of my films in the past, this is the price it costs to see another one… GET DOWN FOR THE CAUSE.” [Variety]

Chef 2 Chainz is cooking in the kitchen. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper, who's known to share his culinary palette on Instagram, will include a cookbook with his second disc B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time. He doesn't eat beef or pork, so expect plenty of seafood, turkey, and chicken to complement his CD. [Vulture]
