Style Scoop: Cos Opens in Soho, The Most Beautiful Girl In The World, Alexander Wang’s Denim Look Book
Cos officially opened its highly-anticipated Soho store Friday afternoon. H&M’s sister store finally made it stateside, giving New Yorkers an opportunity to indulge in its minimalist wares just in time for the holidays. If you haven’t gotten there yet, it’s probably something you should leave time for this weekend. [Glam Inbox]
Moscow native Kristina Pimenova has been featured in Roberto Cavalli Junior and Armani Junior campaigns, and been called “the most beautiful girl in the world.” Not bad for someone who’s only 9 years old. Pimenova’s mother runs her social media profiles (her Facebook boasts more than two million followers), and some are wondering whether she’s exploiting her model-perfect daughter. Whether or not you agree with that viewpoint, Pimenova is most certainly gorgeous. [Refinery29]
Alexander Wang has officially made his foray into denim—and the full look book, starring model Anna Ewers, is here. Each of the three styles in the collection possesses that covetable model-off-duty, relaxed look, and we can't wait to style the crap out of these better-than-basic babies. They'll be available for purchase on AlexanderWang.com come Monday, but Vogue's already got the tagline down: “Nothing comes between me and my Wangs.” [Vogue]
Maybe Kendall Jenner was onto something when she wore a tiara on a regular night out. The New York Times reports that “for some professional urbanites, the tiara is becoming the new power scrunchie, a sartorial coup de grace for the #ladyboss set.” Icons including Beyoncé, Madonna and Lady Gaga have all caught on, making us think that maybe it’s time to invest in a gilded headband of sorts. Rent the Runway has been providing us with glamorous holiday garb for quite some time now, but there’s one seasonal offering that hasn’t made it onto its roster until now: the ugly Christmas sweater. An occasion for an ugly sweater always pops up this time of year, and with these so-bad-they’re-good pieces, there’s no excuse not to partake in the cheesy fun. [ELLE]
