Yahoo’s global news anchor Katie Couricmarried John Molner in her own backyard in the Hamptons on Saturday. She wore a Carmen Marc Valvo ivory crystal beaded and embroidered Chantilly lace halter gown. Valvo was pleased to be a part of the former Today show cohost’s big day. “So glad to be a part of this new chapter in her life,” he said. “I think of her as an American icon, but she was really is an international one. A fire broke out at ASOS’s distribution center in Barnsley, England compromising 20% of its warehouse merchandise on Friday night. As a result, the company had to stock accepting orders over the weekend while they sorted through everything. The site was back up and running by 2 a.m. Monday morning. Kanye Westwants to redesign Instagram. Not entirely, just tweak it a bit. “Why don’t you let us redo Instagram,” he asked the social media photo sharing destination's CEO during the 2014 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. “Now, you know, Instagram is nice. It’s nice looking—I’m not knocking it. But in general, everyone spends all of their time looking at their screens or their phones. Just a simple task, we could clean that up.” Presumably, the “we” West is referring to is he and his wife, Kim whose wedding photo is the most liked Instagram of all time. American Apparel founder Dov Charney isn’t leaving his company without a fight. Charney was suspended from his role of chairman and CEO last week in the mist of a “misconduct” investigation but is gathering materials to challenge the decision. “Mr. Charney believes that such a termination is without merit and intends to contest it vigorously.” He’s also reportedly been in talks with other stockholders to “discuss with the supporters the potential changes to the composition of the board and management of the issuer.” [Women’s Wear Daily]
