Style Scoop: Kristen Stewart Embodies Chanel, Zac Posen Might Help Revive Charles James, and Christophe Lemaire Partners With Uniqlo

Kristen Stewart stars in the latest Chanel campaign, which also features Vanessa Paradis and Alice Dellal. Stewart embodies the 11.12 in her frame of the black-and-white photo shoot, while Paradis channels The Girl Chanel and Dellal The Boy Chanel. The Twilight actress said it best: “For me, the iconic handbag is just like the House of Chanel, fundamental and modern, two qualities not usually shared.” [Chanel]

With the revival of an historic fashion house comes the unavoidable question of who will lead it. Harvey Weinstein acquired rights to the house of Charles James last year with the intent of resurrecting the brand, and it seems like he’s entrusted Zac Posen, the modern day master of dramatic ball gowns, with spearheading the project. Weinstein’s wife, Georgina Chapman and her Marchesa co-designer Keren Craig will remain “creative consultants” to the brand. As of now, neither the Weinstein Company nor Posen’s team has confirmed, but stay tuned for updates. [The Cut]

Designer Christophe Lemaire departed Hermès to focus on his eponymous line, which, of course, doesn’t exclude designing capsule collections with retailers like Uniqlo. The Japanese brand will partner with Lemaire on a capsule collection for men and women, debuting next fall. [Fashionista]

Karl Lagerfeld’s seasonal fashion mailer “The Karl Daily” is going digital for its second edition. Launching toward the end of March, the mailer for Lagerfeld’s signature brand will feature faux celebrity gossip, interviews with models Kendall Jenner and Ming Xi, and “catty advice” from guest columnist Choupette. While Rancic issued an apology, the drama seemed too much for Osbourne to deal with. Sure enough, replacement rumors are swirling: supposedly Khloe Kardashian and Nene Leakes are in the running for the open spot. [Us Magazine]
