Style Scoop: London Designers Dress to Impress, Michelle Phan Goes BadGalRiRi and Kate Upton Defies Gravity in Sports Illustrated’s 50th Anniversary Swimsuit Edition

Though we’re now knee-deep in Milan Fashion Week, it seems that London designers made quite a splash. Buyers like Saks Fifth Avenue’s Colleen Sherin and Liberty of London’s Stephen Ayres who attended the London shows were impressed by how much creativity London designers had to offer. Makeup superstar Michelle Phan is at it again, and her latest inspiration is Vogue’s March cover girl, Rihanna. In the span of a 3-minute video, Phan transforms herself into BadGalRiRi herself – complete with flawless scarlet lips, ear cuffs and black baseball cap. This is one makeup tutorial you’ve gotta see. Kate Upton is defying gravity in Sports Illustrated’s 50th Anniversary Swimsuit Edition. The blonde beauty looks utterly flawless as she poses for the shoot, which was filmed in an anti-gravity Boeing 727. Oh, and the bathing suits are cute, too. [Hollywood Life]

In more model news, specifically of the Cara Delevingne variety, the British beauty strutted exclusively for Fendi in Milan – while carrying a Karl Lagerfeld doll in her hand. Never one to be too shy to shock, Delevingne maintained her signature bad gal stare as she graced the runway, mini-Lagerfeld in-tow. We’re not even going to question what prompted her latest runway antic – we’re only going to ask where we can find a Karl doll for ourselves. [Glam Chic]

As we recover from New York Fashion Week (read: prematurely construct our fall shopping lists), we’re deciding which trends will make an impact on our wardrobes and which ones just won’t cut it. One that will certainly be incorporated into is the updated mid-length hemline. Let’s just say that sophisticated skirts from the likes of DKNY, Helmut Lang and Vivienne Tam will definitely be a few of our biggest players come fall. [The Luxury Spot]

The Kardashian takeover continues. And they've made it over to Mexico. Teenagers Kendall (who recently walked exclusively for Marc Jacobs during New York Fashion Week) and Kylie Jenner grace the cover of Mexico's MarieClaire March edition. The girls open up about growing up in the Kardashian spotlight, their current projects and future pursuits, all the while donning some pretty gorgeous clothes. [E! Online]
