Style Scoop: Opening Ceremony Gets Juicy, Jennifer Aniston Celebrates Cake in NYC, Anna Wintour Gives Pretty Presents

Opening Ceremony co-owners Carol Lim and Humberto Leon took a few cues from the juicing rage for their pre-fall 2015 collection. The designers debuted a very literal, fresh take on pre-fall dressing with tops emblazoned with the words “Locally Grown,” complete with drawings of bananas and grapefruit wedges. They really went all out with it: “Think beet, blueberry, grapefruit, and kale green, and future-modern cuts and fabrics that interpret the peel of a banana or the texture of a leafy Swiss chard,” Opening Ceremony’s blog explains. Rent the Runway announced that it has raised another $60 million in funding, which will go toward opening retail locations in 15 more markets and adding a West Coast distribution center. The e-tailer opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Manhattan after a successful shop-in-shop setup at Henri Bendel, and followed that up with another store in D.C. Looks like that’s only the beginning for the young startup. [Fashionista]
