Style Scoop: Prada Works Milan, Vaccarello for Versus, LVMH Steps Out in Nicholas Kirkwood

Britney's back and Miuccia Prada is here for her return. The designer soundtracked her Spring 2014 show during Milan Fashion Week with Britney Spears’ new single “Work B*tch” as an ode to independent women everywhere. “I was concerned with women and the strength of women,” Prada said after her show. “We are here, we are strong, we are visible, we are kind of [like] fighters.” [ELLE UK]

After pushing collaborations with Christopher Kane and J.W. Anderson, Donatella Versace may have her sights set on Anthony Vaccarello. Versace is reportedly interested in signing him as the next guest designer for Versus. [Vogue UK]

Since we're talking shoes, it's worthy to note that LVMH Moët Hennessy • Louis Vuitton bought a majority stake in Nicholas Kirkwood. “This acquisition affirms the ongoing commitment of LVMH to nurture talent and creativity, considered as the heart of any success in the industry in which they are leaders,” the conglomerate said in a statement. Meaning we'll be seeing more Kirkwood-soled ladies very soon. [Reuters]

Single soles are still a step ahead. Manolo Blahnik has damned platform shoes, shuttering any desire for us to stock up on the chunky style. “Even the most beautiful woman in the world—and especially small women—looks so out of volume with platforms,” he told Elle online. “There’s something kind of obscene, very suburban—it’s not the right thing.” [ELLE]

Gucci gone wild. The brand completed its four-part Forever Now campaign starring Charlotte Casiraghi with some furry friends. Bruce Weber lensed Casiraghi and the Bamboo bag with a young horse, miniature dachshund, and gang of Golden Retrievers. [Telegraph]

Our Parisian chic #girlcrush turned 59 yesterday… and of course, she did it in style during Milan Fashion Week. Bisous Carine! [The Cut]
