If you like the idea of matching your ensemble to your automobile, than you'll appreciate Volkswagen's most recent innovation. The popular car brand has debuted a denim detailed model concept Beetle at the New York International Auto Show this week, on display until April 12th. The cool convertible features jean seats and accents as well as a denim inspired roof and paint job. With the 60s and 70s hot on and off the runway this season, adding this signature fabric to a vehicle often associated with the grooviest decade seemed fitting. [Style.com]

Valentino has opened another flagship shop, and its big. At 1,470 square meters, the new Valentino store in Rome is not only incredibly spacious, it's stunning too. Designed by creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli in collaboration with architect David Chipperfield, the decor features Venetian terrazzo with Carrara chippings, timber, leather, and marble. Truly a work of art to house work of arts. [The Cut]

The Fashion Meets Music Festival (FMMF) recently announced the music lineup for its Labor Day weekend festivities in Columbus, Ohio, and now, we know the designers that'll be making appearances too. Alongside acts like AWOLNATION, ZZ Ward, and Young the Giant, fashion industry gurus like Linda Rowe Thomas and Kahindo Mateene of “Project Runway,” Celeste Malvar-Stewart, Esther Myong Hall, Cierra Lauren, Katelyn McClain, Bryston Walters, Lydia Hopmann, and many more will also be in attendance. Ann-Sofie Back should be proud. The Cheap Monday creative director was honored with the Design Museum's Designs Of The Year Award, beating out JW Anderson, Raf Simons, Thomas Tait, and Fausto Puglisi in the fashion category for her spring/summer 2015 collection. Bravo! [Vogue UK]
