We call it brand loyalty. George Clooney, longtime fan of Giorgio Armani, will don his favorite designer for his upcoming nuptials. Reportedly, an entire team from the designer’s office in Milan flew to Clooney’s Lake Como, Italy home to fit him and his groomsmen. “They’re locked and loaded,” for the wedding scheduled for September 20 when Clooney and Amal Alamuddin will say their ‘I dos.’ [Women’s Wear Daily]

Today Trina Turk launched the latest step in the designer’s brand expansion: handbags! The bags will retail for $158 to $598 and will be available at premier department stores and specialty boutiques nationwide. The Anna Wintour Costume Center’s Charles James: Beyond Fashion exhibit is faring better than last year’s Punk: Chaos to Couture. When the exhibit closes on Sunday, it will do so as the fifth most popular show in the Costume Institute’s 25-year history, coming in behind Alexander McQueen, Jacqueline Kennedy, Superhero-themed and Chanel shows, according to a spokesperson for The Met.
