Photographer Roxanne Lowit gathered hundreds of her photos of Yves Saint Laurent into a new book entitled, aptly, Yves Saint Laurent. The collection of photos dates from 1978, when Lowit first encountered Saint Laurent at the top of the Eiffel Tower, until 2002. Some of his muses and models even wrote for the book and Pierre Bergé, the designer’s partner, wrote a forward. Lowit says of the book, “It’s like you’re walking through backstage with me. And it’s very personal, it’s close-up, it’s private.” [Women’s Wear Daily]

H&M’s sister brand opens in New York on October 17, and Iris Apfel is helping to introduce the young label to its new neighborhood. The first of a series of “styling stories” features Apfel and will launch on the & Other Stories website next week. Apfel was drawn to the brand’s outerwear, saying, “If a woman gets one thing this season, it better be a coat. There were a couple of stunning ones, some with skirts and scarves to match. I like architectural, simple, well-designed clothes and what I saw fit the bill.” [Style.com]

The hills are alive with the sounds of…Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld hits the road for his Metiers d’art collection, which will debut at the Schloss Leopoldskron, just south of Salzburg. The Rococo palace is considered one of the finest in Austria—only the best for Karl and friends. [Women’s Wear Daily]

What’s better than a pregnancy announcement? Two in one day! Blake Lively and Coco Rocha both announced that they’re expecting on Monday. Lively shared her news (not all too explicitly) on her site Preserve, while Rocha took to Instagram with a video to broadcast hers. [GlamChic]

ICYMI: John Galliano is taking over creative direction at Maison Martin Margiela. This marks the controversial designer's return to fashion, once and for all. After a post-rehab stint at Oscar de la Renta, preceded by his ousting from Christian Dior, Galliano is making a comeback via the Paris-based house. We can't wait to see what he has in store for Fall 2015. [GlamChic]
