The plus size set is seeing a big change from the Bullseye. After announcing an expanded range of sizes for the upcoming Lily Pulitzer for Target, the retailer has announced a new clothing line called Ava & Viv that’s sure to stand out.
Target listened to consumers who wanted chicer selections in expanded sizes, not only online but on shelves as well. The new line will offer a slew of bold basics and trendy must-try’s starting this February. Fresh selections will be served up every month with prices ranging from $10 to $79.99 – perfect for the babe on a budget.
Given the controversies the brand has faced with the fuller-figured fashionistas in the past, Target linked up with some of the best plus size bloggers, including Nicolette Mason, Chastity Garner, Gabi Gregg, to get their approval on the new looks. “It’s really wonderful as a consumer to know that a brand is listening,” Mason said. “I think the girl who will wear it is someone who wants to be seen and she wants to be noticed and have fun with her clothes.”
As Gregg explained the styling the for the look book, “I asked [Target] if we could do a cool track pant and add a little blazers for some of the prints because the prints were so great; I wanted them in every piece.” We have a feeling we will too!
