The Glam Dish on Our T.J. Maxx Scores! For Spring

A $500 gift card to T.J.Maxx plus two style-obsessed Glam editors could mean only one thing: a shop-till-you-drop excursion for name-brand and designer goods at incredible prices. And that’s exactly the type of outing we had, scouring for savings and rustling through racks in a mission to find must-have pieces for our spring wardrobes. As we absent-mindedly put find after find into the shopping cart, it didn’t take long for the cart to begin to overflow. We were so piled high with designer denim, stacks of soft, knitted sweaters, adorable wedges, and an endless range of trending accessories, it looked like our problem would be scaling back to stick within our budget rather than finding enough desired goods to meet it. In the end, we went with the two purses that stole our hearts: a Rebecca Minkoff slouchy bag in our favorite shade of neutral—leopard print—as well as an emerald leather satchel (the color of 2013!) by Badgley Mischka. Both totes were more than 60 percent off and can be worn through throughout the seasons with the right styling. With money to spare, we added an adorable Rebecca Minkoff olive zip wallet, with cheeky “Benjamins” detailing the side, and a pair of sunglasses by Cole Haan, originally $78 and down to $16.99. We left T.J.Maxx with smiles on our faces, a little more stylish than we were when we’d entered. Our once-in-a-lifetime shopping spree may have come to an end, but T.J.Maxx mania has not. Always on the hunt for fashion for less, we here at Glam continue to use our local T.J.Maxx to pick up designer goods at a fraction of the price. After all, the feeling of finding a piece that makes you look and feel good and knowing you’re saving money too is a hard one to beat.
