The words "luxurious" and "hot dog" probably don't belong in the same sentence, but, in light of the newest menu item at Serendipity 3, we're making an exception.
The NYC eatery's $69 foot-long haute dog is made from pure beef, grilled in white truffle oil, sandwiched in a pretzel bun from Germany, and toasted with white truffle butter. Instead of the usual fixings, this frou-frou frank is topped with medallions of duck foie gras with black truffles served with condiments of black truffle Dijon mustard, caramelized Vidalia onions, and heirloom tomato ketchup.
Gourmet-loving guests can continue splurging with a decadent dessert: Serendipity’s famous $25,000 ice cream sundae.
