Tommy Ton & Club Monaco Create Conditioned Carryalls

Famed street style shutterbug Tommy Ton is taking his love of fashion from behind the camera. The Jak & Jil founder has partnered with Club Monaco to create a capsule collection of classic handbags, continuing the brand’s tradition of collaborating with photography talents like Peter Lindberg and Garance Doré. The collection initially made its debut during New York Fashion Week and traveled to London, Paris, and Milan where they were touted by his closest friend and favorite fashion subjects. Crafted from British Millerain triple-layer bonded cotton in a fine twill weave, leather trim, and nickel hardware, the bags are built to last. Made for style and functionality, men or women can wear the messenger bag and backpack in the collection. Ton was excited to work with a brand he’s worn since he was a teenager.

“It was a thrill to see the amazing response and outpour of support for the bags during fashion month,” he said. “I feel very fortunate that many friends in the industry were more than happy to carry the bags and it was beyond surreal to photograph some of my favorite subjects.”

The Tommy Ton x Club Monaco Capsule Collection will be available at select Club Monaco stores worldwide for $198 – $225.
