Veeps: Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Joe Biden Ditch White House Correspondents’ Dinner

The next time President Barack Obama steps foot into the Oval Office, he’ll find the HBO’s second-in-command left a little gift behind.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus and real-life Vice President Joe Biden shook things up at the Capitol after making plans to ditch Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner. “It’s a bunch of politicians trying to explain politics to Hollywood,” Biden said in the hilarious clip while hanging out the side of his canary yellow convertible. “It’s not worth it.” The shenanigans that followed, though, absolutely were.

#JuliaAndJoe chronicled their spree in a seven-minute short film that conjures up LOLs like the annual event is so prone to do. They ran amok in the Oval Office, added the fictional Selina Meyer’s Some New Beginnings to Obama’s collection, binged on ice cream under First Lady Michelle Obama’s disapproving eye (she’s known to have a few healthy obsessions), and capped off the night with a tattoo session alongside Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi. You know, your typical Saturday night.
