We Have a Situation: The Girl Effect at #TWC2010
Have you seen this video? (You might have… it's been around for a while, but that doesn't make it any less noteworthy.) Who knew that basic animation could be so moving? I guess it comes down to message – it's so simple but so powerful.
Moderator Brian Williams showed this three-minute clip this morning at the Women's Conference during his panel discussion entitled “Values, Vision, Voices: Men Who Get It” with Phil Knight, co-founder and Chairman of Nike; Nick Kristof, New York Times columnist, and Howard Schultz, Chairman, President, and CEO of Starbucks.
The video was created and backed by Knight and Nike… and yet there's no branding and the only thing they're selling is an idea. It's pretty amazing, no?
