Now that you're caught up on the news that Kanye West rented out AT&T Park in San Francisco to propose to the mother of his four-month-old child, North West, with a 50-piece orchestra playing Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” followed Keri Hilson featuring Ne-Yo and West’s “Knock You Down” while the words "Please marry me" (with extra e’s no less) flashed across the giant screen, we can begin speculation about what Kim Kardashian will wear down the aisle.
But this isn’t the reality star’s first trip to the rodeo.
In 2000, then 19-year-old Kimmy eloped with music producer Damon Thomas after four months of dating but filed for divorce in 2003. Based on the lack of evidence online, we assume the dress and ring were pretty low-key considering they eloped. She made up for that with her nuptials to Brooklyn Nets forward Kris Humpheries in 2011. Kardashian wore, count em, three custom made Vera Wang gowns. The first had a full tulle skirt, Basque waist and hand-pieced Chantilly lace applique on the bodice and train. The second was a form-fitting mermaid style gown with more tulle, lace and Organza petals. Lastly, the bride changed into a bias-cut crepe-back satin gown with a v-neck and circle skirt.
When Kim ties the knot for the third time, we’re almost positive that the fairytale wedding Kardashian planned for her second wedding to Humphries was a lot more excessive that whatever Mr. West and his stylish BFF Riccardo Tisci have planned for her. Our money’s on a neutral color palette—not that she needs much more with the 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz ring Kanye presented her. And Kanye and North in leather, obvi.
Guess, we’ll have to wait for the wedding special on E! (you know it’s coming) to see how this goes down.
