Lions, giraffes and models! Oh, my!
For Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2014 campaign, the French fashion house “exalts [the brand’s] travel heritage and reprise a tag line from historic Vuitton campaigns by Jean Lariviè, who depicted products against landscapes steeped in serenity,” Women’s Wear Daily is reporting.
“It’s a mix of travel and the fashion world,” Vuitton’s communications and events director Frèdèric Winckler told WWD, that shows off the resort and spring runway collections modeled by Karen Elson andEdie Campbell.
The campaign was styled by Carine Roitfeld and will appear in April glossies like Vanity Fair. The image above will have to do as the fashion world waits with baited breath to see what new creative director Nicolas Ghesquière will send down his Paris runway for his very first collection for Louis Vuitton on March 5th.
