Will Vogue Rival the Actual Bible in Size This September?

If you thought lugging around last September’s issue of Vogue magazine, you know, the special 120 anniversary edition withLady Gaga on the cover was a workout, you’re not going to know what to do with this year’s September issue.

When Vogue’s September issue with cover girl Jennifer Lawrence hits newsstands, it will have a whooping 665 pages of ads in it—up 1% and 200 pages more than last year’s back-breaker.

Bring on the forklift because the number isn’t counting actual pages of content and delicious designer fall fashions, that’s just the final count of ad pages. So factor in the magazine’s content and at this point, the only thing rivaling Vogue’s September issue in size is the actual Bible.

This number makes the September issue that was the basis of its namesake documentary (weighing in with 725 ad pages, including the Fashion Rocks supplement) sound kind-of measly, right?

Either way, we’re excited for the fashion bible’s September offering and can’t wait to see Lawrence on the cover!
