New Oreo flavors are here, and just in time for National Ice Cream Day. The annual celebration is on July 15 and milk’s favorite cookie is giving us a big reason to indulge with not one, but two limited-edition, new Oreo cookie flavors to satisfy your sweet tooth. The scrumptious new additions are inspired by two ice cream flavors we all know and love: Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake and Rocky Road Trip.
Starting July 2 you can get your hands on the Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake-flavored Oreos, which feature whipped strawberry shortcake-flavored creme and strawberry-flavored pieces, all on a golden Oreo cookie.
Rocky Road fans will have to wait until July 23 to try the latest flavor from Oreo. The cookie is made up of rocky road-flavored creme, marshmallow bits, and soy nut inclusions, all in a chocolate Oreo wafer– and chocolate lovers are bound to rejoice over the double-chocolate packed into the Rocky Road Trip Oreos.
You can purchase the Oreo cookies at select groceries stores and online from retailers like Target and Amazon–but I wouldn’t wait, because Amazon is already running low on stock of the Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake Oreos– but you can still purchase them here.
The two new Oreo flavors followed the June 2018 release of Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Oreos and Pistachio Thins Oreos. Although those flavors were permanent, the latest additions are available for a limited time only. All of the new Oreo flavors were announced at the Sweets and Snacks Expo in Chicago earlier this year.
In addition to the new flavors, the brand also promises to bring back limited-edition favorites including Firework Oreos–and we couldn’t think of a better cookie to celebrate the summer season.
