Beat The Heat With These Refreshing Watermelon Cocktails
Is there anything more refreshing than watermelon on a hot summer day? That’s a rhetorical question. Not only does the juicy fruit have a high water content, but it’s also soaked in nutrients. Of course, you can enjoy it by the wedge or strain it into a healthy, homemade juice — but have you tried it spiked? The sweet flesh pairs well with a range of spirits, from vodka to tequila to gin. Plus, it makes a pretty blush-pink drink. Here, four simple and oh-so-satisfying watermelon cocktails that beg to be sipped poolside.
