Whether you’re going to Miami for spring break, a work trip, or a weekend getaway with girlfriends, fashion bloggers Ginger Harris of ElectricBlogarella.com and Annie Vazquez of TheFashionPoet.com know the best spots to stay. In the video above, they share their top three picks for a super stylish trip.
If you want to be in the heart of South Beach, then Sense Beach House is the place to go. It’s walking distance from some of the area’s hottest restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Plus, it’s just a couple blocks away from the beach.
“I love the surfer chic vibe,” Vazquez says.
It’s also connected to The Local House, an ocean-themed eatery that is great for Sunday morning brunch. On the rooftop, there’s a pool and plenty of chairs for catching some sun. You’ll also have a great view of the ocean from the rooftop and many of the rooms.
If you want to truly live like a local, then Harris and Vazquez suggest looking for a place in the heart of South Beach on Airbnb.
“This is a true local experience,” Harris says. “This is how the majority of South Beach lives in a cute little beach apartment.”
By using Airbnb, you can choose the amenities, location, and price that you want in a place to stay. Harris and Vazquez found a charming place that only averaged about $200 a night.
“That’s a total steal,” Vazquez says. “You’re not going to find that anywhere else on the beach.”

Sunset Harbour is one of Miami’s trendiest neighborhoods at the moment. Harris and Vazquez suggest staying at one of the hotels in the area or renting out somebody’s apartment through Airbnb or VRBO.
“If you’re looking for a homey place that has character, this place is definitely a great spot for any Glam girl to stay at,” Vazquez says.
The spots in Sunset Harbour will likely be bigger and more spacious than the locations you’ll find in South Beach. Plus, you’ll still get to enjoy a beautiful view of the water.
