12 Risky Fashion Trends Of 2023 And How To Pull Them Off
By LAURA BOJAMAA
Sheer Fabrics
Sheer clothing items can be combined with lingerie underneath and… nothing else! It’s a risqué look, but that’s probably what you’re going for, and you can always make it a bit more modest by adding a jacket or replacing the bralette with a bodysuit.
The No-Pants Look
This look is ultra risky, but it’s simple to also make it super glamorous. Play with the length of the garment you’re wearing as a top, and style with a mid-length blazer or oversized sweater and high heels for a high fashion outfit.
Hot Pink
Fans of bold colors know hot pink will bring a little extra something to an outfit and make it pop. If you don’t want to dress in hot pink from head to toe, consider a hot pink coat, pants, or accessory paired with more neutral colors.
The Low-Rise Mini Skirt
The Y2K era has spoken and tells us that micro mini skirts with ultra-low-rise waistlines are back. You can pair your mini skirt with a large belt, a light tank top, or a colorful crochet top; for colder days, opt for a classic knitted turtleneck.
Corduroy Pants
To really rock corduroy pants, keep the high waist in the spotlight, especially if you prefer styles with wider or flared legs. Pair the pants with a tight t-shirt for balance, and to stay in the spirit of the '70s, add a pair of vintage glasses with tinted lenses.
