An Instant Spark In A Relationship Could Be A Major Red Flag. Here's Why
By ANNA DENSON
Love at first sight might seem like a romantic notion, but the concept doesn’t translate easily in modern dating. When you first meet someone, you could feel a spark right away and believe you've found "the one," but this isn't a guarantee of a lasting connection and could mean something different.
If you feel a spark with a potential partner, it’s possible that they just ooze natural charm or they’re textbook extroverts who have a spark with everyone. They also might be narcissists just looking to stroke their ego and don’t want anything genuine or long-lasting on their end.
This instant spark might also represent solely physical attraction. Since our brains react to attractive pheromones, that spark can merely indicate that the body has met a sexually compatible match, but you may have nothing in common beyond that chemical attraction.
