Applying setting spray is a must at the end of your makeup routine because it can give you an airbrushed finish, extend the wear of makeup, and prevent the oily slip-and-slide effect. However, BeautyTok contributors are showing that setting spray can also fix patchy foundation.
TikTok beauty vlogger Hali posted a video showing how setting spray can make a dry and patchy complexion look smooth and refreshed. Just spritz the setting spray directly onto a beauty sponge and then tap your face with the pressing motion, which will melt the makeup back into the skin to reveal a smoother look.
To best achieve this hack you’ll need a spray with a formula that is both alcohol-free and hydrating because matte sprays tend to dry the skin.
