Can Working Out Help Clear Acne?
Working out has numerous benefits but, there seems to be some conflicting information regarding whether it can clear up your acne or cause breakouts. Leading many to ask; “does working out improve or worsen acne?”
Unfortunately, there is no clear-cut answer, as both of these scenarios can be true. If your acne is caused by stress then workouts will help improve your condition. On the other hand, if exercise is causing your breakouts then you probably aren’t taking the necessary precautions to keep your skin clear.
Before you start physical activity, you should gently remove your makeup and change into clean clothes, preferably loose-fitting clothes instead of form-fitting if you tend to get body acne. If you have long hair, put it up in a ponytail and once you’re finished, immediately shower, change your clothes, and wash your face with a cleanser.
