Holiday Fashion Trends That Will Be The Star Of The Season

Bright Colors
The Barbiecore fashion trend is not yet out of style, so colors like lime green, orange, pink, and yellow are very much on the table. Include shimmer and sequins in your glammed-up holiday looks.
The holiday season is a time for maximalism, so incorporate feathers and feathery fringes. Jason Wu and Alexander McQueen approve of this look, and whether it’s more subtle or bold, feathers will add a touch of flare to any outfit.
Metallic tones are back in a big way, including wearing garments that bring color and a metallic-looking fabric at the same time. This trend appears to be popular for both accessories and clothing, a holdover from Spring/Summer 2022 that doesn't look to be going anywhere anytime soon.
Strategically-placed cut-outs in clothing designs are popping up everywhere, with celebrities like Julia Fox jumping on board the trend. As the Roberto Cavalli A/W 2022 show notes stated the look is a "gesture of feminine self-affirmation."
Following the pink Giambattista Valli look that "Euphoria" star Sydney Sweeney wore to the LACMA Art + Film Gala, rose detailing is proving to be popular for this holiday season. This includes capes, as in Sweeney's case, and on bodices.
